Since the new Healthcare Insurance Act (Zorgverzekeringswet) came into force in 2006, a number of healthcare insurers have changed their policies on reimbursing the cost of medicinal cannabis. As each insurer is free to set its own rules, you should check your healthcare insurer’s reimbursement policy.
